Role Purpose
Working with the VP/Director, HR to develop and deliver the HR plan that supports the Global HR strategy and to manage specific HR and Training projects and initiatives that drive the plan. Responsible for supporting line managers in the Corporate Office, to enable them to professionally manage their teams and deliver Great Hotels Guests Love. Support the utilisation of the Company’s Winning Ways and IHG Commitment through the 4 HR rooms and The Vision.
Key Accountabilities
•Provide data and analytics to Global Corporate functions that drives insight and clarity on people needs for Global Corporate Functions e.g. Colleague Heartbeat, Talent cycle, myHR functional data •Manage people data accuracy, reporting and position management in myHR system, spotting errors, root cause analysis, process mapping and improvement and liaise with HRSS to implement automated/transactional solutions •Provide statutory letters and contracts for GCF based colleagues, for people moves internally (post external offer), updating templates as required and reviewing more automated ways of working •Manage complex stakeholder groups in HR and GCF to resolve myHR and data errors and create optimal resolutions •Communicate regularly with hiring managers to establish rapport, provide status updates, and support self-service through one-time coaching. •Support the implementation of HR Initiatives to enhance overall organization effectiveness •Take specific responsibility for elements of number of key HR projects, ensuring project timelines are met •Support the rewards team for employee related benefits, data collation and analysisEducational Attainment:
•Essential - Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business or HR ManagementCritical Expertise & Experience:
•At least 2 years working in a HR function with evidence of performance improvement initiatives in HR Administration and Co-ordination practices, use of HRIS reporting and analytics and working on projects.Technical Skills & Knowledge:
•Ability to use MS Office 365 and advanced applications/automation tools •Ability to report and analyse data that will help shape people insights •Experience in using global HRIS e.g. Oracle or Workday (or equivalent) and maximizing use of system capabilities •Able to map and identify process improvements to increase efficiencies •Ability to communicate clearly and articulately, proactively questioning stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery of needs.At IHG, we’ve made a promise.
