Summary of the Job
The dev sec ops lead, will work as a scrum master to facilitate for agile teams, working under the scrum methodology. They will act as the point person responsible for managing and developing the sprints. They will work closely with the respective functional teams, to translate epics, stories and other items, on the sprint list into actionable tasks for the development team.
Key Characteristics (please list 3)
Facilitate scrum ceremonies such as daily stand up meetings such as sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective.
Continuously reflect on lessons learnt through the sprint retrospective process, to drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery.
Publish scrum metrics i.e such as sprint say/ do ratios for effective delivery and management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress.
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
Communicate project status, issues and risks to stakeholders.
Track KPI’s and help deliver high quality products/ solutions on time.
Ensure the teams follow the scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.
Hard Skills:
Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
Soft Skills:
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify opportunities and design solutions, which are sustainable.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer related field.
10 to 12 years of IT experience
6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
Certifications in Agile Methodologies like certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
Certification in SAFE and Kanban
Prior Knowledge of Agile Management tools i.e JIRA.
Preferred:
Preferred working experience on running dev sec ops, leading projects or part of the product management teams.
