HR GPS Advisor


About our Team
 


The HR Shared Services Operations that helps process accurate and compliant HR Operations for all 5 divisions of RELX (Corporate, Scientific Technical and Medical, Legal, Risk and Exhibitions), as well as any acquired companies going forward.
 


About the Role
 


The APAC HR GPS Advisor will report to the HR GPS Supervisor. They will support operational HR Shared Services and for RELX's APAC Regions, including all 5 divisions and acquired companies. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of Shared Services (Hire to Retire) in compliance with regulations for all APAC countries. Additionally, the Advisor will contribute to global transformation projects and Continuous Improvement  functions in line with RELX's strategic goals.


POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:


  • Ensures delivery of effective day-to-day services for employees and managers in India.
  • Oversees the daily HR operations, including Manage the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, policy interpretation, myHR (Workday), etc. across India.
  • Maintain and update employee records and data in the HR information systems (Workday) and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on the use of self-service tools and technology for HR transactions and information.
  • Collaborate with HRBP, HR COEs and other key stakeholders to implement and improve service center processes, systems, and standards.
  • Supports education of local employees to increase adoption of HR technology such as myHR.
  • Participate in engagement activities with other regional shared services team members
  • Collaborates with internal audit team and external auditors to complete audits on HR operations.
  • Supports HR-related projects in India.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPEPRIENCE:


  • Min. bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in human resource service center, operations, or related role. Good to have experience in working for Australia and New Zealand Countries.
  • Familiar with local labor law, employment regulations and tax policies of India
  • Experience with HR technologies and data analytics
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to solve problems and provide solutions based on proven practices or procedures
  • Languages: Fluent in English
