Overview of the role
The HR Executive will help implement people strategies and solutions aligned with short- and long-term goals of the business focusing on statutory compliances. As a critical member of the HR team, you will be responsible for effective deployment of our core HR processes at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:1. HR Compliance & Governance: - Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws, statutory compliances, and regulatory frameworks, minimizing legal risks for the organization.
- Support audits and inspections, ensuring timely submission of statutory documents and compliance reports.
- Assist in updating and implementing HR policies in alignment with labor laws and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
2. Employee Relations & Workforce Management: - Act as a key HR point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, and statutory benefits.
- Handle employee grievances professionally, ensuring fair and legal resolutions.
- Engage with employees regularly to address workplace concerns, provide counseling if needed, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Support initiatives that enhance Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract, retain, and engage talent.
3. Learning & Development: - Assist in the design and execution of Learning & Development (L&D) programs for new and existing employees.
- Work closely with managers to identify training needs, coordinate sessions, and ensure alignment with career growth.
- Partner with external training vendors and manage learning initiatives, including e-learning programs.
- Track and report training effectiveness, employee participation, and ROI on L&D initiatives.
4. Payroll & Compensation Support: - Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to prepare payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Address employee concerns related to salary, tax deductions, and statutory benefits (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
- Support compliance with compensation-related laws and ensure payroll-related policies are up to date.
5. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management: - Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmations, promotions, and exits.
- Facilitate exit interviews, ensuring smooth separation processes and proper documentation for full-and-final settlements.
- Prepare HR-related letters, such as experience letters and relieving documents.
- Maintain HR databases, update MIS reports, and generate HR analytics for management insights.
6. Employee Engagement & Recognition: - Organize and support employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a motivated and productive workforce.
- Assist in designing and executing Reward & Recognition programs.
- Act as an advisory support for various employee engagement initiatives, helping to build a strong workplace culture.
