Job purpose
The HR Business Partner will have the responsibility for effective people strategy of the new Hyderabad site and will engage with site leaders to enable and impact business success. The role will ideate, conceptualize and implement the various HR initiatives, including workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, rewards and recognition, succession planning and policy review. The role will be responsible for enabling a strong business partnership to ensure perpetuation of all major HR initiatives being rolled out centrally.
Responsibilities:
- Business Partner
- Ensure a strong collaborative working relationship with the business leaders and be an integral part of the site core team
- Provide support that is aligned with Tech@Lilly function, Site and HR strategy that enables seamless high performance
- Build familiarity with the business Head count and Cost budgets and drive governance on the same
- Partner with leaders to drive a strong employee experience for the new joiners through mentorship/Buddy programs, onboarding plans and employee engagement ERG initiatives
- Performance Management
- Champion in driving a meritocracy and performance led culture at the site among teams
- Create awareness on the performance management framework across all leaders & supervisor groups at the site
- Manage the effective PM cycle milestones, calibration exercise and performance improvement plans for employees in consultation with leaders
- Employee Relations
- Work with In line managers and employees to address all types of employee concerns and issues ensuring a balance and upholding Lilly’s ways of working
- Conduct Investigations in line with Lilly policies and recommend disciplinary decisions
- Take preventive steps to increase awareness in the organisation and create a culture of discipline & compliance
- Talent Management & Succession planning
- Partner with the Business leaders to emphasize on Individual Development Plans for the employees to support career development
- Be the HR champion for the Businesses assigned to nurture talent, propagate succession planning and identification of hi-potentials and career planning
- Create awareness for various Reward & recognition programs, Talent Management processes ensuring high level of employee motivation and drive strong performance culture
- Establish Career Development framework based on Role, capability and competency and emphasis on Individual Development Plan for every employee and ensuring their development
Basic Requirements:
- MBA/PGDM qualification in Human resources
- 8+ years of relevant HR experience in reputed organisation, Prior GCC/Tech industry HR experience is preferred
- High on integrity, collaboration and trustworthiness
- Strong business acumen and ability to think in the deployment of various HR programs
- Comfortable to challenge with respect and passion to deliver results in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Should have strong analytics, presentation and interpersonal skills and solution mindset
- Deep knowledge on HR Systems and processes to drive execution
- Excellent communication skills – Written and verbal and fluent in English language
- Adherence to Lilly’s values and purpose
- Ability to work multiple subjects, prioritize and deliver all of them
- Ability to work with different stakeholders across functions and geographies
