Job DescriptionJob PurposeDesign and implement HR initiatives aligned to Group HR and business strategy. Take responsibility for HR relationship with business stakeholders, end-to-end delivery of HR operations for the Country and represent Group HR for internal and external local regulatory/ statutory authorities.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure staff operates within the requirements of FAB policy & ProceduresAccountable for HR generalist and operational functions for the Country and representative officesResponsible for the review/ creation and update of policies and procedures ensuring adherence to bank as well as local laws and regulations. Ensure HR processes are aligned to group guidelines.Interface with group and country management for efficient delivery of HR services.Take responsibility for accurate and effective maintenance of employee and Country records. Ensure cascade to Group HR.Ensure customer satisfaction towards key activities such as resourcing, on boarding, manpower planning, payroll administration etc.Create effective processes to implement annual HR activities such as performance management, Learning activities, employee survey etc.Be responsible for liaison with internal and external governing bodies/ Regulators etc.Take accountability for bank readiness for audit and compliance checks.Draw upon the specialist resources in HRG (Compensation, learning, policy) as appropriate in order to provide the best available adviceManage manpower vendors and related processes effective; ensure compliance to local regulatory guidelines for outsourcingEnsure communication and implementation of HR and other policiesStay abreast of market intelligence, update group function as and when required; manage and develop relationships with external vendorsBe responsible for employee engagement and HR communication initiatives.Work with Group HR to build a performance driven, engaging work culture.Contribute to India franchise growth strategy from HR point of view (manpower estimation, market search for new geographies and recruitment)Develop Key Talent, Succession Planning, Organization Effectiveness, Retention of High Performers and Management of under performersEnsure appropriate staffing levels and skills mix within all departmentsDrive and monitor country HR activities such as team’s performance management, leave planning and learning and developmentUndertake additional tasks and key projects as Project lead in multiple India ProjectsTake complete ownership of Regulatory Compliance and adherence to it in timely manner as required by authorities.Ensure payroll along with benefits for employees is processed in time on 25th of every month with any delay and errors.Ensure relevant labour Compliances as applicable are filed in timeEnsure employee and Manager issues are resolved amicably by counselling them and provide support by addressing areas of improvementDevelop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.Provide overall leadership and guidance to the Group HR overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership developmentEffectively execute duties as a POSH Committee member.Amicable resolve employee conflicts and create a safe and healthy work environment.Responsibly completion on Mandatory E-learnings as per RBI mandate in done as per timelines defined as per GHR.Ensure completion of Goal setting and periodic review is done with functional alignment of relevant stakeholders on periodic basisOperates with a high degree of autonomy, but with the delegated authority of the Head of HR.The post holder will be seen as the Group’s own point of reference in all matters relating to the people and organization management of the business.Member of India EXCOMember of Internal Complaints committee (POSH ACT)Through understanding of RBI circulars on HR and areas affecting HRExceptional knowledge on Indian labour laws such as Code on Wages, Gratuity Act, PF act, POSH act, Maharashtra Shop and establishment act, Maternity Benefit Act etc.Joint reporting –functional reporting to the Head of HR – Asia / International and locally to the Country CEO – IndiaWell connected with the big 4 and reputed staffing firms / consultants in IndiaQualificationsBachelor Degree holder with professional qualification in Human Resources.Approximately 10-15 years of HR experience having spent at least 8 years in HR Operations. Experience as an HR generalist/specialist is an advantage.Very high level of commitment, OwnershipIn dept knowledge for RBI regulations on Human ResourceMust have exposure to banking or financial services.MI generation & reporting skillsUnderstanding of local labor regulations/ statutory requirements is a mustExpertise in HR operations, policy development, HR communicationAbility to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and deliver within tight deadlinesSupervise, coach and develop junior team members.Demonstrate high level of integrity and ability to handle highly confidential information appropriatelyDemonstrate HR partnering acumen and build relationship with stakeholdersAdditional Information#LI-KS1
