  • Monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
  • Answering the telephone as per the Hotel standards
  • Taking down guest bookings/reservations and allocating tables as per the bookings/reservations.
  •  Estimating wait times for guests and communicating the same.
  • Monitoring the guest waiting list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
  • Provides a friendly and personalized welcome for guests
  • Offers attentive service and accommodates any request the guests may have, within the         purview of The Hotel standards/policy.
  • Heeds any remarks/requests made by guests and ensures follow-up
  • Upon guest’s arrival, assesses the dining room and, as per reservation /requirement, escorts the guests to the table, while explaining the outlet/menu offerings.
  • Assist the guests with seating and inform the section/station holder for further assistance
  •  Upon returning to the station, make any necessary changes to the dining room occupancy chart.

Qualifications

  • Vocational certificate or diploma in F&B.
  • Language skills: fluent in the national language and business English.
