Your Role and Responsibilities
Do you have a passion for learning and applying modern software engineering practices to help solve business problems or bring new insight? If so, we are looking for Linux System Administrator to join IBM’s Cloud platform business unit, working on the future of cloud computing.
Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in Linux OS to implement security measures and ensure system integrity.
• Demonstrate proficiency in networking and network configuration to optimize system performance.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Linux-based applications, leveraging languages such as Python and bash.
• Engage in Linux kernel discussions and deployment of OS in cloud environments.
• Take Part in debugging and investigation efforts to ensure smooth operation of services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Able to demonstrate hands-on experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Strong programming skills in shell, Python and familiarity with other languages.
• Proven ability to debug and investigate running services effectively.
