Hindi PRT

The Hindi PRT will teach Hindi language and literature to primary-grade students. The teacher will work towards developing students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Hindi, fostering an appreciation for the language, and preparing students for higher-grade level learning.

1. Lesson Planning & Delivery:
   

   
   
   • Develop and deliver engaging Hindi lessons based on the school curriculum.
     
   • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities to make learning interactive and fun.
     
   • Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Hindi.
     
   • Use appropriate teaching methods and resources to cater to the varying learning needs of students.
     

2. Classroom Management:
   

   
   
   • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
     
   • Encourage active student participation and creativity.
     
   • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and address any behavioral or academic issues.
     

3. Assessments & Reporting:
   

   
   
   • Conduct regular assessments (quizzes, tests, assignments, projects) to evaluate student performance.
     
   • Maintain records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
     
   • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to school management.
     

4. Cultural Activities:
   

   
   
   • Promote cultural awareness through Hindi-related activities like poetry recitals, storytelling, debates, and drama.
     
   • Encourage students to take part in Hindi language competitions and events.
     

5. Parent-Teacher Interaction:
   

   
   
   • Communicate with parents regarding student progress, behavioral issues, or concerns.
     
   • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and contribute to discussions about the child’s development.
     

6. Continuous Professional Development:
   

   
   
   • Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and developments in the Hindi language field.
     
   • Attend workshops, training sessions, and school meetings as required.
     

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hindi or equivalent (B.A. in Hindi, B.Ed.).
  
• A diploma or degree in education (B.Ed.) is typically required.
  

Experience:

• Prior experience teaching Hindi to primary school students is preferred but not always necessary.
  
• Ability to teach and communicate with young learners effectively.
  
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
  
• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
  
• Basic computer literacy for preparing teaching materials and using online learning platforms.
