Role description:


The HSW specialist will be responsible for delivering elements of our Global HSW strategic objectives to achieve our HSW Vision of Protecting pour People. 


Act as a central point of contact for coordinating global Operations and Projects HSW initiatives, ensuring consistency with global Business services


Role accountabilities:


Global Communications: 


  • Execute global HSW communications within the global HSW communications strategy, including: organizing and hosting webinars, planning Global HSW Day events, coordinating HSW TTZ awards programs, Stewardship communications, developing HSW moments, actively promote HSW initiatives.
  •  Manage the global HS&W intranet sites. 
  • Drive HSW behaviors by crafting impactful messages tailored to different stakeholder groups—line managers, leaders, and all employees—ensuring consistent and engaging communication.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure communications are culturally appropriate and resonate with diverse audiences worldwide.

 Growing the Wellbeing Advocate Network: 


  • Expand and strengthen the global network of wellbeing advocates by recruiting, training, and supporting new members to promote HSW initiatives across regions.
  •  Manage monthly safeguarding and CPD sessions. 
  • Develop resources and best practices to empower advocates to champion wellbeing efforts within their teams, fostering a culture of health and safety. 

Leading the HSW Champions Program:


  •  Lead and oversee the HSW Champions Program, providing direction and support to champions who drive HSW initiatives in their areas. 
  • Facilitate regular meetings, share updates on HSW projects, and create opportunities for champions to share success stories and best practices. 

Coordination of the Global HSW Steering Committee: 


  • Organize and coordinate the activities of the global HSW steering committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing meeting materials. 
  • Track action items and follow up with committee members to ensure progress on key HSW initiatives and strategic goals

Coordination of global HSW meeting:


  • Organize and coordinate the activities of the global HSW teams including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, creating presentation slides, and distributing meeting materials.

 Coordination and Compliance of HSW Training:


  • Oversee the coordination, delivery and tracking of HSW training programs globally, ensuring all employees and relevant stakeholders complete training. 
  • Support the development of all global HSW training
  •  Ensure training content remains compliant with local and international regulations, regularly reviewing and updating materials as needed. 
  • Where required develop and deliver culturally adaptable HSW training programs, enhancing the HSW knowledge and skills of employees across regions. 

Vendor management: 


  • Relationships management with (not exhaustive): ISOS (International SOS), Wellity (wellbeing advocates and training) and WPO (Workplace Options) for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provision. This includes contract management, service optimisation, communication and awareness, crisis management support, data analysis and reporting (coordinate with HSW automation and reporting specialist), feedback and relationship building.

 Occupational Health: 


  • Enhance our global approach to occupational health by coordinating initiatives and leveraging Cority software to improve processes and ensure a holistic an effective global occupational health program.

 Other:


  • Complete all PIA, DPIA and security assessments as required 
  • Support and coordinate HSW integrations 
  • Responsible for invoice management and onboarding new HSW vendors 
  • Interface and work collaboratively with stakeholders outside HSW function – such as the affinity groups
  •  Proficiently navigate the Sphera, Cority and Oracle platforms to identify trends and prepare reporting.

This role may be expected to take on additional duties as requested by the H&S and H&W Director, which may encompass various aspects of other HSW specialist roles to support the delivery of our global HSW strategy, including automation and reporting and operations.
