Job Description:


JOB SUMMARY
This position provides senior and staff management with analytical and technological support as well as manages office operations. This position evaluates and ensures execution and delivery of reports and analyses. This position manages and/or coordinates the support, maintenance, and development of all health and safety systems. This position develops reports and analytics for tracking performance in health and safety leading and lagging measures and collaborates cross-functionally to provide department-specific information. This position collaborates with users, corporate, and other personnel to resolve issues with applications and serves as the liaison between users and the systems developers and vendors. This position provides extensive training on health and safety technology systems and procedures to assist with evaluating business plan results and the tracking of health and safety initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitors and communicates health and safety goals by business unit to validate objectives are met
• Gathers/transforms data, draws conclusions, and provides recommendations from analytics
• Prioritizes control issues to identify the impact to the users and to plan resources
• Identifies problems to clarify, re-create, and resolve system issues
• Creates requirements to address issues and to identify business rules in support of safety technology
• Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day-to-day administration of processes and formal procedures
• Identifies individual and team skill gaps and developmental opportunities (e.g., training, special assignments, conferences, projects, etc.) to facilitate individual and team development
• Maintains documentation that support completion of work and retention of details/decisions
• Designs in-depth testing plans to test new products, solutions, services, or technology and ensure developed components meet design requirements
• Creates and interprets customized reports while also identifying ways to minimize report generation and required storage
• Implements strategies that minimize biases and preconceived ideas
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, vlookup, formulas)
• Advanced Microsoft Access skills (table import and export, select query, make table query)
Preferences:
• Previous work experience in health & safety, finance, and industrial engineering
