Siemens Energy – Head of Talent Acquisition
This positionis to headtheTalent Acquisitionfunction for the SiemensEnergy businessof Siemens Limited inIndia. Reporting to the Head of P&O, the individual will be responsible to manage coordination of all the activities regarding the performance and execution of talent acquisition activities in India.
The Head of Talent Acquisition is a strategic role responsible for leading the talent acquisition strategy and operations within a multinational corporation. This role requires a dynamic leader who can build strong relationships, lead a team of recruiters, and drive continuous improvement in recruitment practices.
This team aims at attracting, sourcing, selecting and hiring the best people to meet the needs of the business. You will lead a robust team of recruiters sitting in different locations in India to deliver end to end Talent Acquisition services.

- Relationship and Account Management:
- Build and maintain operational and strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute medium to long-term Talent Acquisition strategies.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for non-routine applicant inquiries and operational issues.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and lead a team of recruiters, fostering their development and performance.
- Liaise effectively with authorities and local organizational units as necessary.
- Oversee operational processes and ensure high team morale to attract top talent.
- Recruiting Service Delivery:
- Manage recruitment resources, tools, and processes to deliver on business resource plans.
- Ensure adherence to TA guidelines, processes, and procedures to meet performance standards.
- Facilitate the creation, transmission, and processing of recruitment-related data files.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Track and manage recruiting metrics and KPIs for service delivery improvement.
- Maintain compliance and proper documentation throughout the hiring process.
- Oversee the use of global IT systems for efficient recruitment administration.
- Thought Leadership:
- Stay informed on recruiting trends and local labor law regulations.
- Build a network through industry contacts, associations, and social media.
- Encourage continuous learning and development within the TA team.
- Strategic TA Management:
- Define the TA strategy and ensure its implementation across the organization, adhering to superior policies and standard regulations
- Oversee the design and implementation of robust TA infrastructure and processes to support efficient and effective international talent management
- Select and collaborate with global or regional TA service providers, negotiate SLAs, and approve work deliveries
- Campus Hiring Strategy and Oversight:
- Design and oversee the execution of a comprehensive campus hiring strategy that aligns with organizational goals
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of campus recruitment activities and initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of the campus hiring strategy
- Employer Branding
- Develop and implement a comprehensive employer branding strategy aligned with the company’s overall talent acquisition goals
- Liaise with communications team to execute employer branding initiatives effectively
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of employer branding strategies and campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition leadership with atleast 15 years of experience within a multinational matrixed environment.
- Strong relationship management and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, legal compliance, and performance metrics.
- Ability to manage special projects and support senior-level recruitment.
- Commitment to thought leadership and continuous improvement in TA.
