As the Head of Technology in Hyderabad, you will oversee Sanofi's critical delivery teams responsible for Network, Infrastructure, Identity, Cloud, ITILv4 Process Excellence, Client Support, Integrations, DevOps/Automation, and the Digital Technology User Experience. Your objective will be to define and implement strategies that ensure seamless operations, drive innovation, and create a cohesive, unified team aligned with Sanofi's global goals.
Main Responsibilities:
Leadership, Strategy, and Governance: Set and drive the technology and organizational strategy for the Hyderabad hub, ensuring alignment with global business objectives, digital strategy and a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and efficiency. Ensure alignment with global governance structures and adherence to practices which support initiative build and run related decision-making.
Operational Oversight: Oversee the delivery teams supporting key areas, including network, infrastructure, identity, cloud, ITILv4 processes, client support, integrations, DevOps/Automation, and digital Client Experience.
Organizational Transformation: Lead and manage organizational transformation initiatives, focusing on Ways of Working and fostering a culture that supports an evolution of traditional delivery to agile models, across the development, deployment and maintenance of products, platforms, and services we provide.
SRE and Federated Models: Promote the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and federated organizational models to optimize team performance and accelerate innovation.
Collaboration and Standardization: Work closely with global corporate centers, communities of practices, and regional teams, ensuring a "One Sanofi" mindset across all operations and delivery, driving collaboration and consistency in service delivery.
Digital Client Experience: Support delivery and operations teams in the digital client experience, ensuring that technology solutions are effectively meeting the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility, leveraging data-driven insights and feedback from stakeholders.
Track and Monitor Success Metrics: Align and integrate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and maturity across domains such as Network, Infrastructure, Identity, Cloud, ITILv4 Process Excellence, Client Support, Integrations, DevOps/Automation, and the Digital Technology User Experience
Collaborate with Digital Strategic Partners: Work closely with digital strategic partners to continually enhance collaboration and refine ways of working, with a focus on accelerating delivery and ensuring sustainable operations. This includes identifying and implementing best practices that foster strong partnerships and drive innovation across the organization.
Lead Technology Recruiting and Training Programs: Lead efforts in recruiting and training programs to equip onsite employees with the skills needed to adapt to agile ways of working. This involves designing and implementing training initiatives tailored to the candidate's or employee's specific subject area, ensuring alignment with the organization's agile transformation goals.
Educational Background: A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. An M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or an MBA is preferred.
Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience in technology leadership roles, with a track record of successful organizational transformation and implementation of traditional and agile support models.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in network, infrastructure, cloud technologies (Cloud Certification required), ITILv4 processes, DevOps, and digital client experience management.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse international teams, build trust quickly, and manage cross-functional relationships at a senior level. Experience in federated and matrixed organizational models and driving a one-company mindset is essential.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to define and articulate a clear vision, distill complex issues into actionable recommendations, and lead teams through transformation.
Business Acumen: The ability to learn quickly the functions of a large biopharma, at a high level, and the skills to navigate through the critical path to identify further opportunities for improvement and innovation, leveraging Tech.
