Job Profile: Head of Sales and Business Development for Continuous Gas Analyser
Position Overview:
- Title: Head of Sales and Business Development Professional for Continuous Gas Analyser / Business Development Professional
- Experience Required: 10-15 years in sales and Marketing Role in the field of Gas analyzers industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Business Development:
- Decide business vision and goal for Gas Analysers product portfolio of Siemens. Prepare necessary strategy, policies, processes and procedures to achieve business vision and goal
- Strategy should address objectives of organization in terms of improvement in market share, new product launch, year on year growth etc.,
- Sales and Execution:
- Follow sales strategies to achieve Order Value & revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets through Solution Partner and for direct business
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
- Make proposals for products sales, coordinate with SCM and Logistics and Business Administration for day-to-day business activities.
- Development of vendors for the bought-out items
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research online to identify trends and customer needs.
- Analyze competitors and develop strategies to gain market share.
- Product Knowledge:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of continuous gas analyzers and their applications.
- Provide technical support and product demonstrations and presentations to clients end users or OEMs
Customer Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers/EPCs/OEMs
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly collaborating with experts through solution partners or support from Siemens Germany.
- Vendor Enlistment activities in EIL, Various EPCs
Collaboration: - Work closely with the MI marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights.
- Collaborate with commercial team for smooth order booking, payment collection and inventory management
Reporting: - Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts and update in Sie Sales
- Achieve sales target
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics /Instrumentation Engineering or three years Diploma with 5 yearsfield experience in sales and services of Gas Analysersand TDLS basedgas Analysers, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-6 years in sales or business development, preferably in the gas analysis or related industry.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and explain Sampling systems for Gas Analysers and its related technology.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Commercial terms and conditions
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, also in Auto CAD would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Industrial communications architecture, Modbus, Profibus based solutions from Analysersand PLCs
