Your Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing the daily operations.
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods and adhere the Group policies and principles
Review and approve Journals
Review month end Reporting activities in HFM
Review fixed assets accounting and reporting/reconciliation
Review Balance sheet reconciliations and analyze, research and clear Open items
Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of results.
Prepare Trended P&L and Analysis of the same. Provide comments/explanations on variance analysis for the PL and Balance Sheet Items.
Responsible for coordinating for Interim/year end Audit.
Prepare and support for the Monthly KPI Key Metrics for the GL process.
Involve in automation and process improvement initiatives
Review and update Process documentation
Handling team members and guide/coach them
Responsible for multiple entities/regions
Be the primary Point of Contact for a particular region(s), resolve queries/handle escalations and build long term relationship with the stakeholders.
Provide goals to the team members and conduct performance review feedback with them on a regular basis.
Responsible for smooth transition of activities at the entity level
What you bring
Education and Experience
Qualification: ICWA/CA
Minimum 15 years' experience in R2R
Through knowledge of the accounting systems.
Should have managed teams.
Ability to interact and lead multiple customers across the globe and handle issues
Experience to continuously look for opportunities to improve metrics and the validation of the data
Proven analytical and numerical ability
Validated presentation and interpersonal skills with flexibility in work hours
Experience in general ledger.
Good analytical skills, with ability to work under pressure situations.
Strong process and accounting knowledge of IFRS, Accounting Standards etc.
Team player & strong work ethics and integrity.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferably experience in working with international colleagues.
Good exposure to ERPs (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and HFM.
