Ensure execution of the Construction & Commissioning tasks in line with the operating guidelines for the HVDC Product and PGGI BU. Develop and Maintain processes and tools within the area of responsibility. Ensure a coordinated approach in all areas with the other Construction and Commissioning Departments/Sub Functions. Ensure leadership and motivation by establishing an open and broad communication of the principles, objectives, targets and processes including the feedback communication. Maintain identification of training needs, planning, execution and follow-up of the appropriate training. Ensuring Personal is properly Managed, Appraised and developed in accordance with the relevant appraisal and People review processes of the company. Managing the Regional Cost Centre results to ensure budgets are achieved. Overview the Site Execution within the area of responsibility to ensure it is being professionally executed. Managing Regional utilization to ensure all employees within the department are adequately assigned. Decision-making and the management of improvement tasks and technical rules within the framework of set goals and assigned tasks. Define together with the subordinates (both: direct and functional) and approve objectives and targets in line with the HVDC Construction and Commissioning objectives. Member of the HVDC C&C management team and participating in the capacity and improvement planning. Collaborate on the definition and implementation for the processes and procedures for the Construction and Commissioning function and Coordination with Global HVDC C&C Department Managers. Support to all Departments within HVDC C&C organization for control and resourcing of personnel assigned to Projects in the Americas. No direct subordinates and HVDC C&C employees assigned to Indian projects. Your background: A Bachelor / master’s in electrical / electronic engineering with relevant work experience in the EPC Business and HVDC Business Candidate needs to be excellent in the management of employees and Managers, tools and other resources. Candidate has to show excellent capabilities in the explanation of complex technical and working processes. Strong intercultural skills and abilities for managing of worldwide processes, procedures and leading with local management. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
