Who we are looking for


With immediate effect, we are looking for an experienced Compensation Consultant to lead our APAC Compensation team. The role will be based in India and report into the International Head of Compensation who is based in Australia.


The Compensation team is focused on the design, implementation and management of employee compensation plans, with the goal of creating incentives to drive employee engagement and appropriate behaviors.  The team also advises on the regulatory and governance-related compensation requirements, to ensure compliance with local, regional and global regulatory frameworks.  In addition to day-to-day management of key deliverables, such as supporting compensation decisions and the annual compensation review cycle, the team supports a varied portfolio of projects, partnering as a virtual team with colleagues across the globe.

What you will be responsible for


As the Head of APAC Compensation you will


  • Manage the APAC Compensation team
  • Support regional compensation workflows and day-to-day management of key Global Total Rewards (GTR) deliverables including the annual compensation review (Total Compensation Planning or “TCP”)
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for compensation support for a number of countries within APAC
  • Pro-actively identify areas for process improvement
  • Provide support on various aspects of APAC remuneration regulation
  • Focus on Risk Excellence and support the proactive and effective management of remuneration risk by the first line of defense
  • Lead or support ad-hoc projects and provide support to the wider International and Global Compensation teams, as required
  • Focus on client service delivery and relationship management

Education & Preferred Qualifications


  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree or comparable education
  • Track record in Compensation within a fast-paced, international, financial services or consultancy organization
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and project management skills
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of external market and trends
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
