RFP of Advanced Hardware Engineer


Job Expectations:


•Work in a global team as an Individual Contributor with responsibilities and ownership for mechanical design in Value Engineering (VE) and Component Engineering (CE).


•The responsibilities include schematic development, component selection, detailed design, verification testing and interfacing with other functional/support teams (such as mechanical, manufacturing process, simulation, drafting, ECAD, evaluation, marketing, supply chain and external test labs).


•Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting. It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise is selected product line and develop proposals/growth ideas & work for improving the product line.


Skill Requirement:


  • Experience in Value engineering and component engineering. Knowledge on Value engineering methodologies.
  • Knowledge of should costing.
  • Sound knowledge of Analog and Digital Electronics design.
  • Hands-on experience of Micro-controller interfacing, Analog to Digital data conversion, designing with op-amps, transistors, MOSFET, linear & switching regulators, Current output (4-20mA) circuits
  • Good knowledge about various serial communication protocols such as RS485, USB, CAN, SPI, and I2C.
  • Hands on experience with comprehensive error budgeting of electronic circuits and good knowledge on noise analysis
  • Hands-on experience on EMI/EMC & best practices in the design & exposure to certification of products
  • Prefer working experience with Sensor signal conditioning circuits.
  • Familiarity with silicon & IC Fabrication process, MEMS design and application
  • Must have exhibited strong technical ownership in the full life cycle projects.
  • Experience in Design for manufacturability, assembly & testing expertise.
  • Experience in PCB schematics & layout design tools (ORCAD/Mentor Graphics).
  • Conceptualize the product and translate the requirements into CTQs for design.
  • Demonstration of usage of six sigma tools in projects is preferred.
