Job Description

 Qualification


  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from recognized university, ME/M.Tech. Candidates preferred
  • Good track record of delivering complex, high-end products to volume production. Awareness of all phases of product life cycle is must.

  Requirements


  • Ability to take complete ownership of product platform from concept to production.
  • Ability to work with large cross-functional and cross-geography teams as technical lead on an NPI program. Influence the product design for performance, quality and cost.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional environment with high level of interdependencies. Interact with PCB layout, signal integrity, power, mechanical, CPLD/FPGA, firmware/BIOS, software, testing, manufacturing and sustaining team on the program.
  • Proficiency in high speed board design, bring-up and debugging. Ability to solve system level problems and making trade-off calls. Strong lab skills to handle high-end test and measurement equipment’s.
  • Proficiency in leading CPU and memory architectures. Experience with DDR-4/DDR-5/PCIe/SPI/XGMII/XFI/XAUI buses is must.
  • Detailed knowledge of systems design consideration from software, PCB, mechanical, thermal, power conversion, DFM, DFA, cost sensitivity.
  • Desired experience and working knowledge of EMI, EMC, Safety and Environmental regulatory compliance of telecom systems.
  • Experience in CPLD and FPGA design/verification.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Should have good industry contacts to know current trends, best practices and innovations.
  • A team player; strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities


  • Ownership of all technical deliverables of next gen. networking products.
  • Ownership of all technical documents of the product. (Product specs, HW Specs, Design review records, DVT plan, Compliance test plan, Diag test plan, HTR etc)
  • Review of schematics, BoM, placement, routing, lab results, compliance test results and all technical documents including product broachers.  
  • Design specification, implementation, gerber and BoM release, bring-up and testing.
  • Perform DVT, fault analysis and new part qualification.
  • Work with a cross-functional team and external vendors/suppliers.
  • Logic design with CPLDs and FPGAs
  • Product sustaining support
