Job Description

Shift Timing - 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Hybrid Work Model: Work from Office Twice a week


About the Role:


  • Engage with stakeholders, business analysts and project team to understand the data requirements. 


  • Work in multiple business domain areas including Sales and Marketing, Finance, Customer Service etc.


  • Design analytical frameworks to provide insights into a business problem.


  • Explore and visualize multiple data sets to understand data available and prepare data for problem solving.


  • Build machine learning models and/or statistical solutions.


  • Build predictive models, generative AI solutions.


  • Extract business insights from the data and models.


  • Present results to stakeholders (and tell stories using data) using power point and/or dashboards. 


About You:


  • Must have at least 2-4 years of experience working in the data science domain


  • Bachelors’ and/or Masters in from any stream (background in quantitative fields like Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence etc.


  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Ability to communicate complex results in a simple and concise manner at all levels within the organization


  • Should be flexible and adaptable to meet and learn the changing demands of the business and projects. Good sense of humor, emotional maturity and the ability to work well under pressure


  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to tell stories using data and PowerPoint/Dashboard Visualizations.


  • Highly Proficient at using Python and SQL and should have knowledge of relational databases


  • Practical experience with modern classification algorithms such as XGBoost, LightGBM, AdaBoost and others.


  • Has experience building machine learning algorithms and implementing models in production


  • Experience building Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models and AI Agents.


  • Hands on with Prompt Engineering


  • Demonstrated participation on platforms like Kaggle is a plus


  • Previous experience working on sales and marketing data is a plus


  • Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools would be great


  • Experience with Amazon Web services and SageMaker


  • Experience with one or more of the following types of business analytics applications:


    • Predictive analytics for customer retention, cross sales and new customer acquisition


    • Pricing optimization models


    • Segmentation


    • Recommendation engines


    • POC’s in building Generative AI solutions (GPT, Llama etc.)
