Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a GSA - Food & Beverage Service at our prestigious establishment in Mysuru, India! We're looking for a customer-focused and energetic individual to provide exceptional service to our guests while ensuring smooth operations in our food and beverage department.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve meals and drinks while adhering to high-quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Basic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Team player mentality with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality service
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Food handling certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality industry (preferred)
- Understanding of food and beverage operations in hospitality settings
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
