Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Grill Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled food, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation while maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The role requires expertise in grilling techniques, seasoning, and temperature control to create delicious grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain grilling stations efficiently to deliver consistently high-quality food.
- Prepare and grill meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables as per the menu specifications.
- Monitor grill temperatures and cooking times to ensure perfect doneness and avoid overcooking.
- Season and marinate meats using various techniques to enhance flavor and tenderness.
- Maintain proper food storage, handling, and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure portion control and minimize food wastage while maintaining cost-effective operations.
- Work in coordination with kitchen staff to manage high-volume orders during peak hours.
- Clean and maintain grills, utensils, and workstations for smooth and safe operations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
- Handle customer orders efficiently and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
Essential Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; Culinary certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a grilling or barbecue role within a restaurant, hotel, or catering business.
- Knowledge of different grilling techniques, including charcoal, gas, and wood-fired grilling.
- Understanding of meat cuts, seasoning techniques, and proper food handling.
