Organization Overview: 


Global Commercialization of Data and Platforms has quickly become a company critical area for our industry. It is vitally important that we can demonstrate to all stakeholders that Lilly is storing, transforming and managing our master data in the most optimized ways with all relevant laws and consents.

To provide business solutions and projects determined by the objectives and services of the Global Commercialization of Data and Platforms – delivering Globally


Responsibilities:


  • Portfolio Management/Delivery


    • Build understanding of master data systems (Customer, Activity, Alignment and Product) and make necessary operational decisions to run the process in partnership with stakeholders daily to address data and platform issues.


    • Accountable for all steps of the Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) Process across Europe, US, Japan, China and other relevant geographies. This requires efficient communication and influence with the Global Privacy Office, Affiliate Ethics and Compliance teams, System Owners, Operations Teams and others.


    • Participates in the requirement gathering workshops. Design, prototype, configure and document data and platform solutions. Build a clear understanding of requirements or specification for analysis and projects, working closely with business partners and downstream platform users.


    • Contribute to driving process improvement/optimizations in the Global Commercialization of Data and Platforms and identify/anticipate opportunities for new solutions


    • Ensures all the design documents and data structures are maintained. Facilitate the review/approval process required for all documents. Reconcile all reviewer feedback and address all issues.


    • Support team with tool migrations, deployments, dashboard development, analyse upstream and downstream impact for system changes


    • Regularly report results of team activities to leadership and stakeholders. Build/refine systems used in operational reporting and relevant analytics.


  • Stakeholder Management


    • Effectively create and manage an agile organization that continuously meets the needs of a changing geographical portfolio, and that demonstrates the right level of independent decision making.


    • Monitor timelines and quality of work; and communicate priorities to the team


    • Build good working relationships with stakeholders in the business and IT organizations.


    • Ability to develop excellent understanding of complex processes involving working with multiple teams across multiple countries and systems


    • Experience managing business plans, budgeting, and capacity resourcing.


    • Experience leading others, including relationship and team building, setting expectations, holding others accountable, and technical coaching.

Required Skills/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)


  • 5+ Years of industry experience master data management/operations, Veeva Platforms, Data Governance, Data Stewardship, data loading/extraction, database administration, data interfaces.


  • Knowledge and use of a variety of computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)


  • Experience with databases and systems like Oracle, Veeva. Good understanding on SQL, cloud technologies.


  • Ability to communicate and cooperate well across different countries and cultures from all over the world with clear and concise data interpretation


  • Fluent in English (written and verbal communication)
