Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced GOM Developer to manage and configure the GOM setup in Murex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Unix, and static data management, along with expertise in Murex environments. This role involves overseeing static data creation, user access management, data validation, and ensuring smooth migration from legacy systems to Murex.
Overall Responsibilities:- Manage and configure GOM setup in Murex, ensuring proper static data migration for greenfield projects.
- Oversee static data creation and management, including portfolios, instruments, counterparties, and SSIs.
- Handle user access management, including user group creation, user rights assignment, and user ID migration.
- Perform data validation for GOM setup and ensure smooth migration of user IDs from legacy systems to Murex.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead project deliverables within the domain of expertise, ensuring end-to-end ownership and timely completion.
- Conduct configuration, testing, validation, and provide user assistance as needed.
Technical Skills:Core Technical Skills:
- Murex:
- Expertise in GOM setup, static data creation (portfolios, instruments, counterparties, SSIs), and user rights management.
- SQL:
- Proficiency in querying databases for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Unix:
- Basic knowledge to manage scripts or perform system-level configurations.
Functional Knowledge:
- Understanding of entity creation processes and user rights management.
- Familiarity with static data migration in greenfield projects.
Experience:- 5 to 12 years of experience in GOM setup within Murex environments.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Configure and validate GOM setups in Murex based on project requirements.
- Create and manage static data entities such as portfolios, instruments, counterparties, and SSIs.
- Assign user rights by creating user groups and managing access levels.
- Validate data integrity during migration from legacy systems to Murex.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and create technical specifications.
- Test configurations to ensure compliance with business needs and rectify any issues identified during validation.
- Provide end-user support for GOM-related setups or queries.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Soft Skills:- Strong analytical thinking to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in static data creation and migration tasks.
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple project deliverables.
