We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Delivery Head
In this role, you will:
- The role involves building and contributing to the relevant strategies and methodology of the function, balancing IT service management practices with agile methodologies, including and not limiting to practices such as site reliability engineering and enabling cultures such as DevOps to mature. Furthermore, the introduction and adoption of appropriate tools based on their knowledge and experience and through identifying industry best practice will be an attribute to enhance observability position of the organization.
- The Service Management lead will be responsible for creating and owning IT service management deliverables as part of the wider service management practice.
- The Regulatory Compliance Service Management Lead will work with the leadership of Risk & Compliance, product ownership and Engineering, helping them define and enhance the service management function by providing subject matter expertise and leadership.
- Contributing to strategic operational model of self-reliant development pods
- Management of ITAP SAFE technical deliveries ensuring all the HSBC process and compliance followed.
- Create Product roadmap and ensure the deliveries are tracked and reported.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the technology strategy that aligns with the business goals of the bank.
- Ability to a provide a proactive focus on risk/issue identification and mitigation, recognizing where MI should be escalated for further review.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges effectively.
- Accountable for the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritization across teams and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to agile and Technology Practices.
- Work with product owner & team to ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams.
- Work with the Architecture / Product lead to review requirements from a testability perspective and formulate the non-functional testing strategy.
