Job Description
VA Power and Steels Pvt Ltd, a group company, is a producer of ferro alloys with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Our plant, located near Raigarh, Chattisgarh, has two smelters with a combined capacity of over 16.5 MVA, and is capable of producing approximately 25,000 tonnes of manganese alloys per year. Over 50% of our output is exported through merchant exporters.
Your mission will be to enhance sales and purchasing, thereby increasing the company's revenue. You will also create strategies for long-term relationships with clients and suppliers and look for new business opportunities.
Roles, Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Develop, implement, and ensure the execution of a strategic marketing plan; Achieve specific targets for revenue growth through improved sales and purchasing activities; Ensure optimal sales/ purchase conditions (including Sales and Purchase Order Books) are in place and facilitate the same, with a view toward revenue maximization.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in untapped markets to diversify the company's revenue streams; Develop new customers/ vendors and retain existing ones; Successfully develop and implement a framework for sustaining long-term relationships with both clients and suppliers.
- Plan and oversee day-to-day marketing operations; Monitor market trends and consumer behaviour closely; Coordinate with cross-functional departments; Develop and implement departmental training programs; Oversee marketing campaigns for branding and positioning in the market.
- Prepare MIS reports; Prepare and declare monthly/quarterly sales forecasts and ensure sales; accordingly, Evaluate costs for product pricing/ manufacturing decisions.
