Responsibilities:- Sustaining technical management of the digital product program through self-driven initiation and coordination of optimization measures and continuous further development, surveillance of technical functionality, national and international legal compliance for e.g. terms of use, monitoring and consolidation or homogenization of global and local digital products. This includes the establishment of a responsible cost-benefit-calculation for digital products, including the identification of cost reduction potentials, as well as the definition of roles and responsibilities, establishment of sustainable processes for management of user permissions, functional testing of applications, technical user support, technical trouble shooting, management of user change requests and safe-guarding of data quality
- Creation and management of a digital products roadmap derived from the digitalization strategies of Corporate Process & Information Management (CPIM) and Industrial Filtration, especially the strategic planning of IF market segments in order to steer and visualize the long-term scope of digital products, exploit synergies across the market segments and to establish connected platforms of digital products
- Initiation and management of innovation projects, including the analysis of demands, responsible definition of development specifications and development of reliable business models for new digital products and product enhancements in cooperation with internal business partners, as well as the management of projects and project teams within the framework of our project management handbook and the product development process (PDP). This comprises also the support and consultancy of digital developments initiated by other departments or functions, which are relevant for IF for example regional developments of digital products
- Support of internal functions during the introduction and roll-out of digital products in the global sales organization by development of distribution channels, establishment of new business models, supply of user trainings including functional documentation, provision of information and contents for marketing activities and by occasional on-site supports
- Supporting the market segments in defining product policy and positioning through digital expertise, through systematic analysis of the own range of digital products in comparison with strategic competitors, benchmark and of market trends and new technologies
- Monitor the national and international filtration industry standards and guidelines relevant for digital products and drive them by active participation in various national and international associations and standardization bodies. All these activities should be in close collaboration with the global Market Segment Managers and the Vice President Global Filter Engineering and are supported by the Technical Product Managers in the respective regions
- Development and transfer of special expertise or knowledge within internal and external trainings as well as customer seminars and national or international conferences, worldwide. Independent review and monitoring of external patents and patent applications in cooperation with the company patent department and initiation of appropriate measures incl. deadline monitoring
Qualifications:- B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical, Master degree from a university combining mechanical or chemical or economic engineering and applied IT disciplines, e.g. mechatronics, simulation engineering
- 1 to 3 years of similar experience, talented newcomer with potential to advance is also welcome
- High affinity for technical systems as well as for IT systems and data management, to translate business demands into functional specifications for digital tools
- Good fundamental knowledge about the design and the development process of digital (cloud-based) products, as well as tools and services of state-of-art technology platforms like MS Azure
- Basic programming skills in common programming languages, to be able to read code, or to be able to set up simple MS power app solutions, Basic user knowledge of MS Office products
- Good project management skills, Proactive mind-set, self-organized, sense of responsibility, structured and team oriented
- Ability to work in a multicultural, interdisciplinary and international environment and willingness for short term global traveling. Fluent English Communication skills, Good presentations and trainings skills, Strong interpersonal skills
