About the department
Global Medical Affairs, GBS is an integral unit of the Global Medical Affairs, headquartered in Denmark (HQ), and is part of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated global scientific advisors, project managers, medical advisors, graphic designers, and publication managers working together with the Global Medical Affairs department in Søborg, Denmark. Our core competencies include communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organisation, in-house content development, project management and publication planning for external medical events.
The position
A Global Scientific Advisor should deliver high-impact, engaging, accurate and credible medical communication materials across medical affairs focus areas to internal and external stakeholders.
• To ensure effective cross-functional collaboration, planning and consistent communication between medical affairs team, project managers and medical illustrators
• Back-end as well as on-site support for clinical activities driven by Global Medical Affairs
• Proactively engage in scientific dialogue and relationship with global KOLs
• Partner with medical affairs teams in driving global medical education and medical communication plan to ensure KOL/HCP engagement and understanding of clinical profile of products through presentations of data, participation in meetings and symposia, and onsite presence
Qualifications
• Ph.D./PharmD with substantial clinical and/or research expertise relevant area (e.g. Endocrinology, Cardiovascular diseases, Internal Medicine)
• At least two years of pharmaceutical industry experience
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
• Should possess strong MS PowerPoint skills
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Demonstrated research experience (e.g. publications)
