Mission Statement:
The Global SAP GTS Specialist is responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and driving continuous improvement in the company’s processes related to SAP GTS. The role liaises between the SAP CoE and the Global Trade Management organization to ensure the effective use of SAP GTS, facilitate process enhancements, ensure business continuity and manage / coordinate new GTS projects and initiatives to automate customs procedures and comply with global trade regulations. The Global SAP GTS Specialist reports to the Head of Trade Compliance Functions & Services and is part of the Global Trade Organization.
Your Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for all GTS-related processes. Support the Global Trade Manager Functions and Services in leading GTS process optimization, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to global trade, customs, and compliance (Process Ownership)
Informing and advising the Global Head of Trade & Security, the Regional Heads of Trade Management, BUs and other stakeholders on tool enhancements, impacts and opportunities related to SAP GTS Compliance, Customs, Origin & Preference and Product Classification.
Lead, support and contribute to GTS Steering Groups
Manage and/or coordinate GTS-related projects and initiatives. Support the Global Trade organization in developing and defining goals, scope and deliverables. Prepare and communicate the project plan and milestones, manage project risks, monitor budgets and manage projects' stakeholders and Steering Committees (Project management)
Lead efforts to optimize global trade processes and leverage SAP GTS capabilities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Identify and implement best practices and system improvements (Process Improvements)
Collaborate with the SAP CoE team to ensure the system configuration aligns with business requirements and global trade regulations. Assist in maintaining and enhancing GTS functionality, ensuring it is fully integrated with other SAP modules (SAP GTS Configuration)
Develop and deliver training sessions for employees on GTS processes and functionalities. Provide ongoing support to key-users, troubleshooting and managing the resolution of system issues related to GTS in alignment with SAP COE L2 and L3 team. (Training & Support)
Support the enhancements to the existing global trade reports and coordinate the improvements to compliance and customs KPI reporting. Analyze data and provide insights to management for decision-making. In cooperation with Analytics teams, facilitate augmentation of reporting efforts through SAP GTS data using automated tools (for example Power BI/EDP data lake) related to trade flows (Reporting & Analytics)
Work with SAP COE, Supply Chain, TT&L, and different business units to align processes, integrate new business requirements, and ensure efficient end-to-end operations using SAP GTS. Define UAT scripts and drive UAT execution through GTS key users during upgrade projects as well as monthly releases.
Lead change management initiatives related to SAP GTS, ensuring smooth transitions when implementing process or system changes (Change Management).

Your Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Must have hands on experience in SAP GTS tool.
Good to have project management skills.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
