The position
As a Global Project Lead - Congresses at Novo Nordisk, your role will involve:
Developing and executing a branded congress strategy that aligns closely with brand objectives to maximize brand impact and presence.
Leading the planning, execution, and assessment of global congresses, focusing on effective branded visibility and experience.
Managing content tracks and utilizing both personal and non-personal engagement channels, collaborating with cross-functional teams before, during, and after events.
Enhancing customer engagement across omnichannel efforts in partnership with the Congress Excellence and Digital Team for optimized reach and efficiency.
Working with the Obesity HCP Marketing Director to plan annual congress participation, aligning goals with targeted healthcare provider (HCP) segments.
Serving as a primary point of contact for HCP marketing stakeholders to optimize budgets and maximize ROI through informed recommendations.
Acting as a strategic partner for commercial brand teams, reporting on congress performance, sharing insights, and enabling the implementation of global initiatives across key regions and affiliates.
Qualifications
We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B.Sc.), or Medical Sciences; a Master’s degree in Marketing from a reputable institution is preferred.
10+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry managing/executing medical conferences/events.
Experience in Digital Marketing is preferred.
Background in obesity therapy and experience in multichannel engagement are preferred.
Strong project management skills and have demonstrated cross functional collaboration across internal teams namely brand teams, regions and affiliates.
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word, with strong strategic, analytical, and data synthesis skills to support decision-making.

You will join the HCP marketing function in the Commercial GBS Obesity Marketing team. Our team is focused on changing the way obesity is viewed and managed today.
