Role Profile:
Reporting to the Head of People Operations responsible for supporting global mobility services globally across LSEG managing and coordinating the programs and assignments. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the experience of employees during Cross-border and within-country assignments. This role is essential in redefining and streamlining mobility processes, ensuring compliance, optimizing efficiency, and supporting seamless transitions for relocating employees. This role requires solid understanding of global mobility policies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate sophisticated international regulations and collaborate with various stakeholders to formulate and deploy strategies that improve operations and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to streamline GM operations, leverage pioneering technology and industry standard methodologies to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, align mobility strategies with overall organizational goals and objectives to support business growth and employee satisfaction.


  • Find opportunities for transformation and optimization within global mobility processes, implement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and overall employee experience during relocations and assignments, continuously assess and refine processes to stay driven and responsive to changing needs.


  • Ensure strict adherence to GM Directives and methods, supervise and handle risks associated with immigration, taxation, and legal requirements, stay updated on changes in regulations and make vital adjustments to guidelines and protocols to maintain compliance and conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.


  • Command and steer GM operations team, providing clear direction and guidance, coordinate all aspects of international and domestic assignments & ensure the team operates efficiently and successfully to meet organizational and employee needs.


  • Provide exceptional leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to team members, cultivate a high-performing and engaged workforce through continuous learning and development programs and encourage a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.


  • Work closely with CoE to provide support and mentorship on the International Assignment / Transfer process, assist with the administration of visa applications and renewals, collaborate to ensure consistent application of GM policies and practices across the organization.


  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure program governance, supervise outsourced services to maintain high service quality and resolve any critical issues promptly and mediate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favourable terms and conditions.


  • Act as a strategic advisor to people leaders, colleagues, and the People Function community on aspects of mobility, provide authoritative advice on immigration, tax, and transfer to ensure smooth transitions and support decision-making processes by offering insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge and standard processes.


  • Conduct insightful briefings and training sessions for employees and managers on GM policies, processes, and cultural considerations. Ensure they are well-informed and prepared for international assignments and relocations. Develop training materials and resources to support ongoing education and awareness.


  • Provide comprehensive support to employees and their families throughout assist with housing, schooling, healthcare, and other relocation-related matters to ensure a smooth transition and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the relocation process, providing timely and effective solutions.


  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to global mobility assignments, ensure all records are up-to-date and align with data protection and privacy regulations. Apply technology and tools to handle records efficiently and securely.


Qualification and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


  • 10-12 years of prior consultative experience, particularly in GM operations.


  • Proven experience in a leadership role within global and domestic mobility operations in a multinational corporation


  • Experience being an excellent partner with external partners, such as relocation service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.


  • Recognized accomplishment in implementing process improvements and demonstrate leverage analytics to drive decision-making and process improvements.


  • Deep expertise in multi nation tax compliance, including PE, payroll compliance, business traveller taxes, and assignment equalization.


  • Resourceful and able to optimally navigate through a highly matrixed, global organization.


  • Self-motivated with strong intuition for business.
