Department – Commercial, GBS


We are looking for Global Marketing Lead in Commercial unit based out of Global Business Service (GBS), Bangalore, India. The Position


The Global Marketing Lead will be responsible to prepare brand strategy, tactical plan development and implementation with use of omnichannel strategy and also experience of launch planning and drive brand launches with GLP-1.



Some important tasks mentioned below:


  • Drive the Launch activity planning (LAP), in close collaboration with different cross functional teams.
  • Derive insights from the data that help formulate strategic and commercial launch plans.
  • Steer the roll-out plans and volume allocation plans, aligned with the brand and portfolio launch strategies.
  • Demonstrates close collaboration between stakeholders at every stage of the launch planning and execution.
  • Work closely with markets/affiliates for launch readiness.

Qualification & Experience


  • Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B.Sc), Engineering (B.Tech).
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
  • 10+ years of overall experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Marketing/Medical Affairs/Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 8+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing /management.
  • Experience within CV or chronic disease therapy area is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc. 
  • Strong project management skills & content writing skills.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex datasets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is a must.

The Commercial, GBS unit, is responsible for creating insights to launch a product, market intel, forecasting, Global Brand Strategy & Tactics. Comprising of Project Management, Brand Management, Brand Communications, Life cycle Management of a product. In the Diabetes Commercial Unit, we are a passionate team helping 26+ million people with diabetes achieve better health through superior products and solutions. We drive the commercial strategy across a strong portfolio of both launch and life-cycle management products.
