The position


The Global Launch Manager is responsible for coordinating launch planning activities and ensuring launch readiness across the RareD portfolio. Additionally, this role oversees the execution of rollouts and leads strategic and process optimization projects within this area. Developing and executing launch plans for new and matured brands in global markets, aligned with RareD business objectives and act as a launch lead for mature brands, in alignment with the launch process defined by GLO and GBS. Collaborate with the global cross-functional launching team to ensure this alignment and act as the central point of contact between global, regional, and strategic markets for launch pre-requisites related queries.


  • Partnering with Launch Directors in identification of key markets and prioritizing launch sequencing based on key business consideration and supporting Launch Directors in monitoring launch readiness as per define scope of responsibilities for specific brands


  • Launch excellence Application (LEA) where to develop and manage rollout plans and maintain internal NN launch management systems


  • Brand portals to partnered in developing launch-specific portals with launch leads and customize and update portal content


  • Launch funding where collate and present funding proposals from the markets and prepare a comprehensive launch budget overview per request of Launch Director and review monthly budget allocation


  • Launch and CE Directors (RareD Zurich office) with whom they should work seamlessly for the respective brands, PS Launch office (Copenhagen) and Regions & Affiliates.


Qualifications


  • Education: Master’s Degree (preferably in management discipline); Undergraduate degree in Pharma, Science/Biotechnology, or Engineering.


  • Experience: 6-7 years in the Pharma industry; consulting experience is a plus.


  • Strong project management experience on commercial end.


  • Technical skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel.


  • Ensure high-quality project management and manage tasks with minimal supervision.


  • Experience with pre-launch commercial activities, will be given preference.

The Commercial, Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning, and Commercial Operations. The unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders.
