Job Summary – 


NXP is seeking a Global HR Business Partner and trusted advisor to senior engineering executives and their management teams.


The successful candidate will support several critical parts of the business and requires a strategic thinker with high drive, high expectations and crisp execution as this position makes a near term and long-lasting impact to the business. We are looking for an HR professional with a proven track record of translating business strategies into people initiatives that effectively drive and support business performance including technology innovation, operational efficiencies, and employee engagement across the organization.


Key Responsibilities –


  • Act as direct HR Business Partner and trusted advisor – to senior engineering executives and their management teams spread across the globe, as well as roll up sleeves and dive deep into the analysis, practical application and execution.  
  • Be an active member of the management teams supported, understanding the business objectives, challenges, opportunities and facilitating solutions and people strategies that drive employee engagement, high performance, and business results.
  • Provide executive coaching, consultation, and guidance to leaders on leadership and management strategies, global organizational design/effectiveness, workforce planning and collaboration for results in the global matrix.
  • Be a Talent Advocate; gaining a deep understanding of succession benches, development needs and career opportunities; connect talent and leadership across NXP.
  • Drive and manage significant organizational change management and culture development initiatives that support the business in its innovation and growth objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to embed a continuous focus on a high-performance culture to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Educate leadership on changing workforce trends and identify opportunities for initiatives to proactively adapt to these changes. This may include organization-wide assessments, capability/expertise/skills gap analysis and resulting alignments.
  • Collaborate with other Regional HR colleagues and Centers of Excellence in driving and effectively supporting business initiatives and priorities and in designing and delivering innovate solutions in talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, total rewards, performance enablement, employee development, and employee relations issues.
  • Global travel required per business needs.

The successful candidate will possess:
 


  • Min. 12+ years of successful experience with increasing responsibility in multiple domains of HR (for ex. talent and culture, recruiting, compensation, people analytics, Operations etc.) including atleast 5 years in global business partner capacity with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities presented above.
  • Strong organization design effectiveness, leadership coaching, change management, collaboration and communication/presentation skills demonstrated through prior work experience.
  • Knowledge and ability to think critically about how people, processes and technology jointly impact employee experience and business outcomes.
  • Ability to influence, along with strong consulting and problem-solving skills; excellent decision making/analysis skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and remain agile in an ever-changing environment.
  • Proven ability to drive results through collaboration in a global, culturally diverse, complex organization.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong situational awareness.
  • Ability to create an inclusive environment by demonstrating personal awareness, embracing all cultures, and establishing meaningful relationships.
  • BS/BA in Human Resources or related discipline required, master’s degree in a related discipline a plus.
