We are looking for a Global Forecast Analyst to join the JLL Research team as part of the JBS Research & Analysis Hub

The Global Forecast Analyst, equivalent to an Analyst or Senior Analyst position, will be part of our growing team of Researchers in JBS. This role will support the Global Forecasting Director in producing, updating, and running econometric models and forecasts for use by JLL business lines and clients. The Global Forecast Analyst is required to have strong econometric, modelling and forecasting capability.


What this job involves:


  • Support the Global Forecasting Director in producing, updating, and running econometric models and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Global research teams to develop consistent messaging and clear explanations of the drivers around forecasts.
  • Analyse real estate markets across the world and develop an understanding of the markets and outlook.
  • Work with colleagues across our three regions to incorporate best practice and techniques into models, forecasts, and the forecasting governance process.
  • Be part of the Global Forecast governance group and take an active role in the quarterly forecasting cycle.

Sound like you? Before you apply it’s worth knowing what we are looking for:


  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, e.g., data science, econometrics, mathematics, statistics, engineering.
  • 2-years’ experience in a quantitative forecasting and/or modelling role.
  • Well-developed econometric skill set (e.g., multivariate time series analysis).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, remotely, with limited supervision and to use own initiative.
  • Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience writing code in Python in a work environment and machine learning and data science experience preferred.
  • Real Estate experience is preferred; otherwise, a strong interest in the sector is required.
