Job Description

Job Title: Data Sourcing Senior Associate


Purpose of Role:


Business Analyst – Global Delivery will be supporting Billing Transformation Lead, as the team implements billing transformation strategy across data ( sourcing, operations and governance), rules, user acceptance testing of new system build out validation and conversion, will be partnering with teams to monitor, track, report progress, targets and outcome linked to target state operating model for the future of billing operations and proposing metrics, opportunities to enhance operations. This role will be responsible to provide insights, status, opportunities and ensuring that various components of underlying processes are run as expected – across processes are all operating in line with the strategy and prioritization defined by the Head of Billing Transformation to achieve the goals of migration to the single, Oracle based platform (ORMB).


Major Responsibilities:


  • Set up alongside Global Billing Transformation lead and execution of key priorities along-with OKR/ KPI (across operations) as we drive conversion from legacy billing application to target state billing processes and technology platform, alongside developing exception reports and metrics;
  • Own and support – tracking, monitoring, communication with stakeholders alongside leads to ensure completion and improvements in metrics as we work towards Target state.
  • Support broader teams- in setting up required reporting and progress metrics, setting up cadence to report out progress, issues and remediation

Information Classification: Limited Access


  • Providing status updates to Billing Transformation Lead, Collaboration and partnership with Data Ops & Billing Team
  • Act as an SPOC for internal groups for all process improvements – ideas, tracking and reporting.
  • Promote risk excellence culture and looking at opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Supporting internal and External audits
  • Develop the team to adopt “owner’s mind set”, work independently, and effectively manage timelines 

Key Characteristics:


  • Strong understanding of Investment banking and Treasury product classes
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data management concepts, principles and practices.
  • Ability to understand data models, data taxonomy, and a deep appreciation of data standards and data quality.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Anticipates client business issues and developments in own discipline; uses knowledge to focus work and drive improvements
  • Identifies patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications; generates new solutions to complex problems
  • Self-confidence, high energy and tenacity in bringing issues to closure and moving forward are highly desired

Qualifications:


  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated understanding of system development life cycle methodology(ies)
  • Demonstrated competency to support complex projects
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to motivate, build consensus, and influence staff and customers are required
  • Sound judgement and excellent ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent understanding of business systems and industry requirements
  • Excellent MS Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Through understanding of Databases and Database concepts.
  • 7+ years of Financial Services Industry preferred BBA/BCom /MBA
  • Highly organized with ability to multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio), advance levels of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, excel workbook maintenance best practices)
  • Knowledge of billing systems – preferably ORMB
