Job Description

Purpose of role:


Responsible for monitoring, auditing, and reporting Travel and Expense (T&E) claims to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accuracy standards. The role involves conducting data-driven analysis, identifying trends, addressing non-compliance and fraud risks, and contributing to process improvements through proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Performing audits to ensure T&E claims comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Identify and report non-compliance, fraud, or irregularities to the Manager.
  • Use analytics tools to analyze T&E data and identify trends or risks.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for review by the Manager and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regional teams, including finance and procurement, to ensure T&E compliance.
  • Address queries related to T&E policies and procedures.
  • Communicate policy updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the Manager in identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process improvements.
  • Work with IT and other departments on system updates and reporting automation.
  • Assist in developing training materials to enhance compliance understanding.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees as directed by the Manager.

Education 


Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.


Experience 


  • 3+ years of experience in audit, compliance, or T&E oversight roles.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft) and expense management platforms (e.g., Concur).

Technical Skills and Knowledge


  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Understanding of audit processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for preparing and presenting insights.
  • Knowledge of T&E processes and familiarity with fraud detection techniques.
