General Manager Marketing and Recruitment – South Asia


About the role


Lead the daily operations of Navitas’ South Asia region, as our next ambitious General Manager. Reporting to the EGM – Global Engagement on a full-time contract, this opportunity resides in Delhi, close to our key client-base. As the General Manager Marketing and Recruitment – South Asia you will be responsible for developing and executing the regional strategic account management plan for the South Asia region that helps set Navitas apart from its competitors by providing a higher level of service and establishing sustainable long-term relationships with its client group.  


The role will provide leadership of Channel Partner Management Team ensuring account performance and will have operational oversight and compliance accountability for of all the source country offices. As the General Manager, you will have personal ownership of ensuring the performance of Navitas’ highest volume global accounts. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies to achieve the sales goals across the region.
  • Oversee the development of organizational structure for South Asia Regional sales and marketing team, focusing on student recruitment and experience.
  • Innovate marketing strategies to expand brand visibility across educational sectors, including schools, parents, and universities
  • Identify and segment the target market, create and deliver value propositions, and design and execute sales campaigns partnering with the marketing teams
  • Forge strategic partnerships to bolster Navitas’ market position and drive business growth
  • Lead sales initiatives and forecast future performance, leveraging insights for informed decision-making
  • Maintain budget and optimize expenses budgets, channel structure, resource deployment, analyze financial and operating performance against plan and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Optimize sales processes and CRM utilization while spearheading new marketing methods to enhance brand presence and engagement.
  • Leadership and engagement by providing absolute clarity on direction, plans, priorities, timelines, and outcomes and continually align to ensure ‘on track’ performance.
  • Proactively ensure all agent accounts within the region have their needs and expectations understood and met within the scope of Navitas business guidelines.
  • Provide an escalation point for unresolved agent management issues within region and support the resolution of issues in a creative and timely way.
  • Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, e.g. agents, government and non-government agencies and bodies, university partners.
  • Implement regular performance review and evaluation of all offices to ensure KPIs are met.

You will bring to the General Manager role:


  • 5+ years in Global Sales General Manager / Executive Sales Leadership position
  • Current working knowledge and networks within the tertiary education market in South Asia
  • Demonstrated and referenceable experience directly owning key client relationships and delivering high levels of client satisfaction across multiple sales channels
  • Track record in delivering growth revenues from value created within accounts
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix organisation
