What you’ll do

Role Purpose:
The General Manager provides a key role to help execute Pricing activities for VSOL services. This position requires a robust understanding of pricing mechanics in a service delivery context (ideally in the technology industry) strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage and prioritise streams of Pricing activities.


Roles and Responsibilities:
•    Manage and executing key streams of Pricing activities (e.g. pricing of new services, pricing management of existing services and production of initial billing outputs (pricing x quantity))
•    Reviewing, validating and ensuring in-put data to perform Pricing activities is accurate and complete e.g: 
•    Ensuring service quantity data provided is for valid services per live Price-book; 
•    Service quantity data provided is in accordance with the right ‘Q metrics’ e.g. no. transactions per the live Pricebook;
•    Data is at the required granularity (e.g. customer entity code by service type) and;
•    Service quantity data billed out of locations whom charge independently, is excluded from initial billing (price x quantity)
•    Close collaboration across stakeholders, including in particular Service De-livery and Finance Business Partners to oversee and monitor the monthly close activities and dependencies.
•    Identifying and escalating key issues or risks impacting Pricing activities to the Pricing Director for resolution
•    Producing initial billing outputs (pricing x quantity) leveraging Pricing models and communicating to Pricing Director and Finance Business Partners for re-view
•    Support the governance of pricing in-put into dependent systems e.g. service management and billing systems, ensuring accuracy and application of the right pricing data 
•    Support in the development of pricing models, tools and processes to support pricing strategy implementation
•    Support communications of pricing outputs with business stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective articulation of pricing rationale, impact and compliance considerations




Who you are

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. 15 years of total working experience.
•    Strong level of experience in Pricing, ideally within a technology industry
•    Understanding of pricing methodologies, including value-based pricing, cost-plus pricing, and competitive pricing 
•    Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel 
•    Experience with Anaplan is desirable 
•    Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to the communication of pricing outputs
