Job purposeThis role objective is to ensure the availability of required cash to support the flow of operations at different hotel Points of Sale. At Holiday Inn we look for people who are dynamic, confident and ambitious; people who excel in their role and help our guests succeed too. Duties and responsibilities Check figures and postings in PMS/POS system for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Prepare daily cash deposit and ensure that cash reconciles with general ledger and act upon all Cash Variances according to SOPs. Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified i.e. audit cashier banks, etc. Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes and ensure compliance with SOPs Qualifications and requirements Preferably a diploma holder/ Graduate in Commerce with basic knowledge of accountancy procedures.
