Job Description: Data Science - Generative AI Specialist
Role: Associate Specialist / Specialist
Software Requirements
- Expertise in Knowledge Graph solutions and technologies.
- Solid foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) principles.
Overall Responsibilities
- Develop and fine-tune NLP/NLU models, including transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, GPT) for language understanding tasks such as generation, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition.
- Design and implement generative AI models by utilizing large language models (LLMs) for text generation and comprehension.
- Innovate and implement cutting-edge algorithms to enhance the performance and efficiency of NLP/NLU models.
Category-wise Technical Skills
Knowledge Graph Development:
- Experience building Knowledge Graphs using Graph Databases (e.g., AWS Neptune, Neo4j, Nebula).
- Familiarity with Graph formats (RDF, Property Graph) and query languages (SPARQL, openCypher).
NLP/NLU Expertise:
- Strong expertise in deep learning models for NLP/NLU, including LLM frameworks.
- Proficiency in NLP libraries and frameworks (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers).
Programming Skills:
- Programming knowledge in Python, Java, TypeScript.
- Experience in Data Engineering using SQL and Spark.
Cloud Technologies:
- Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with AWS preferred for model training and deployment.
Data Processing Tools:
- Familiarity with tools like Langchain, Embedchain, Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Milvus) to streamline data processing and model workflow.
Experience
- Total: 7-12 years of experience in data science and generative AI-related roles.
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and frameworks.
Day-to-Day Activity
- Preprocess and curate text data, including text cleaning, tokenization, and data augmentation for model training.
- Assess model performance using relevant NLP metrics and optimize models for real-world applications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and NLP/NLU research and apply new techniques to enhance solutions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capacity to tackle complex language understanding and AI projects.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, capable of supporting fast-paced startup environments.
- A well-known contributor to open-source initiatives and adept at thinking outside the box.
Preferred Qualifications
- Research publications or contributions in NLP, NLU, and Generative AI domains.
- Experience with Conversational AI and Chatbots (e.g., Kore.ai, Botpress, Nuance).
Additional Information
- Hands-on experience with MLOps and an understanding of the end-to-end CI/CD process.
- Experience in designing control and sandboxing systems for AI research.
