We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
- Champion in Agile testing principles and practices in the team
- Provide Quality and Testing related input during Inception phase
- Collaborate with the team and be responsible for preventing defects.
- Propose test strategy options that address the quality needs of the product, and lead the team in modifying the testing strategy over the course of the project
- Include in the test strategy, the testing scope of the project, responsibilities, environments required, testing approach, tools, testing schedule, reporting and resource requirements
- Ensure test automation remains valuable as a feedback mechanism and guides team to optimize for speed, robustness, and coverage
- Support the Product Owner and Business Analyst in the definition of acceptance criteria and refinement of scope
- Learn about the product and provide this information to the rest of the team through collaboration
- Collaborate with Developers to create acceptance tests on the basis of defined acceptance criteria
- Prioritize test efforts, taking into account the operational and technical risks
- Facilitate triaging of defects at appropriate frequency
- Collaborate with the developers and Business Analyst to sign off user stories
