Job Description
Overall Responsibilities:
- The Lead Node will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development and implementation of Node-based applications and solutions.
- They will lead a team of developers and work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Skills:
- Extensive experience in Node.js and its related technologies
- Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and CouchDB
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Good understanding of RESTful API design
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams of developers
- Experience working on large-scale, complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Leading and mentoring a team of developers
- Overseeing the development and implementation of Node-based applications and solutions
- Communicating with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js and related technologies
- Identifying and addressing technical and project risks
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions
Qualification:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certification in Node.js is a plus
