Euromonitor International seeks a self-employed researcher to help with upcoming project. The task would require you to do below things

1. Identify a popular traditional grocery retailer to visit and conduct store audits
2. Click good legible images of all the products under the 12 categories (explained later) and input the data in an excel file (template will be shared by us)

1. The information that needs to be captured are store details and kind of store
   
2. Product details – brand name, price, all nutritional information, ingredients
   
3. Placement of the product in the shelf and isle
   
4. And enter all this data meticulously in the excel file. Capture any marketing campaigns, promotional campaigns around price. Health claims if they are making etc

On primary research, success relies on researchers’ proactivity to recruit and secure interviews with the right contacts, and their ability to uncover key data and insights via open discussions. Researchers are also responsible for building and maintaining a digital library of secondary research by accessing and analysing local/professional trade press, company annual reports, national statistics, broker reports, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and analyzing large volumes of market data (MS-Excel) and qualitative information.
• Availability to work throughout the year based on project requirements - likely to require 35 hr per week depending on team needs
• Conducting interviews with key players along the value chain: manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations, government, etc.
• Perform retail audits of major retailers and stores
