Job Description

What you’ll do

To work towards analysing the cases highlighted either by the fraud control system or other data points as potential frauds and prevent/ stop fraud from causing financial/ reputation damage to Vodafone, within the defined turn-around time.




Job Responsibility:
  1. Timely closure of alarms generated  by the fraud control tool
  2. Escalation of cases to the stake holders- wherever required
  3. timely detection and prevention of fraudulent activities
  4. Desk top investigation to identify the related fraud incidents
  5. Do root cause analysis on frauds detected
  6. Maintain all records pertaining to the investigation methodically in the designed format
  7. Ensure security of data handled


Technical Knowledge/ experience:
  1. Command on MS-Office
  2. Knowledge of  system UAT procedures
  3. Strong understanding in Data Analysis
  4. Knowledge of telecom/ Banking fraud control  domain
  5. Flair for handling multiple systems/ application
  6. Hands on knowledge of predictive analysis concepts
  7. Good grip on analytical tools and techniques; comfortable using very large (>10’s millions rows) datasets, containing both structured and unstructured data

Academic Qualification:


  1. Degree in any discipline (preference is for those with technical back ground)
  2. Minimum experience of 2-3 years in Analytics / Fraud Control / Revenue Assurance,
  3. Flexibility and problem solving skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
