Description and Requirements
- Partner with the BU, Strategy, Supply Chain (GSC) and Geo’s organizations to provide financial analysis by product, driving initiatives of cost reduction and process optimization.
- Provide benchmarking analysis for comparison to previous generation products
- Define product targets based on Family and RPP and inputs from respective Geo
- Product cost management, including week-over-week analysis and comparison against Winter Plan/Tape/Product Lifetime Milestones etc.
- Manage and follow up cost improvement initiatives and risk (if any) until execution, including in the week-over-week analysis
- Support Product Business Case process providing all cost information in a portfolio perspective and acting as a business partner with BU and Price teams
- Prepare analysis and presentations to be shared with Geo GM’s and SLT
- Key Parts Trend Monthly BMS—Review key parts price inputs, prepare the reasonings for CoC and QoQ changes. Validate, publish & approve key part prices in system.
- R&O Management – Coordinate with stakeholders & Compute Inventory / Step pricing R&Os for Memory, Chipset & Other Key parts for next 4 quarters (Current+3Qtrs ) and upload these into the system.
- Brazil & India MVA Quote updates consolidation— Review quotations uploaded by GSC finance and prepare CoC analysis with reasonings of variances.
- Localization Assumption for NPIs and Legacy (for India / BR) countries—Review localization assumptions with IN Local GCM team & BR Mfg team. Check if it aligns with DM allocation in product cost.
- Accessories freight and duty tracking—Review the accessories localization, prepare the CoC and review it with cost managers and GSC finance.
- Software contract approvals—Review contracts and check if the cost has already been built in product cost, which are received for approval.
- Prepare presentations for all Geos containing Quarterly financial view, Cost Opportunities, Gen to Gen TMC comparison view & any other Strategic discussions for Monthly Geo meetings conduct with Geo GMs and Finance head to provide them overall product TMC view.
