Job title: FP&A Analyst - Manager
Supports strategy execution by delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on business performance, thereby supporting relevant stakeholders to make fact-based sound business decisions.
Your role:
Report Content owners – Close cooperation with content owners in FP&A on the specifics of reporting topics, translate requirements into management reporting using Excel and/or Power BI
• Financial System back-end support – Alignment and understanding of the technical possibilities and set-up of the Financial Systems in Philips (e.g. Financial structures, available system elements and solution to apply in front end reporting)
• LEAN Masters/Champions: Participate in and contribute to ongoing LEAN initiatives.
• Translates customer requirements into management reports and modelling tools using Excel and/or Power BI
• Maintains and improves management reports for organizational changes and ensures report quality and timely delivery
• Identifies and implements opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of our reporting and analytics.
• Applies latest technologies including SQL Cube reporting, AFO and Qlikview to maximise efficiency and ease of use of our reporting and analytics services
• Collaborates with internal teams on report delivery and reporting transformation.
• Basic analysis and reporting on business performance during monthly & quarterly financial reporting cycles
• Performs ad-hoc analysis and validations in financial systems to investigate and support user issues and questions, but also to confirm whether reporting are correctly defined and constructed
• Participates in various x-Business/Market Finance improvement projects. Actively contributes to realizing process improvements.
• Supports training of FP&A peers on FMS systems, tool, structures and processes.
• Understands systems and tools. Ensures quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems. Ensures use of harmonized analytics/ output within responsible business, thereby enabling a single source of truth. Provide guidance to financial and non-financial stakeholders on FP&A related matters and provide training on new reports, analytics, reporting/ planning instructions, tools, changes, etc.
