What you will do:


Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 


  • Support the budgeting, forecasting and provide analysis of cost by department/functional stakeholders
  • Able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Conduct meetings reviewing expenditure and projects, highlighting potential overruns and trends.
  • Provide variance reporting and investigative analysis against budgets, forecast and performance results.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in reporting which will value-add to the business by capturing and analyzing data
  • Facilitate headcount forecast and overall people cost analysis as required and maintain the integrity of correctly allocating cost to appropriate cost centers.
  • Financial month end responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for initiatives from insight analysis and work on initiatives around finance process, systems and data pertaining to operational costs.
  • Support Purchase Requisitions tracking (iProcurement)
  • Assist senior management with analytical requests or ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Support local and global initiative and process improvements.

Who you are:


  • This position is open to internal and external candidates having B. Com, CA, CMA, MBA qualifications and 6 to 8 years of progressive finance experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
  • Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, One stream, Qlik sense or any reporting tools etc.
  • Strong Excel skills in data compilations and aggregation (pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc.) Self-motivated, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working hours in shifts (between 1:30 pm till 10:30 pm)

Experience working in a global environment with sound understanding of global processes and transaction flows Proven financial leadership in supporting multiple & complex organizations Effective communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with remote stakeholders and teams Clear thinking/problem solving successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations Confidence/Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions.
