Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Finance Planning and Analyst (FP&A) at NielsenIQ is a key member of the FP&A Hub team, responsible for supporting the local team in managing financial planning processes. This role involves integrating and developing financial processes that align with both revenue and expense goals, participating in strategic planning, and contributing to global and local strategies. The FP&A team is a dynamic group of young professionals eager to learn, collaborate, and add value to the company. The successful candidate will demonstrate proactive collaboration with peers and leaders and contribute their analytical expertise to drive financial success. Key Responsibilities: Revenue Management and Forecasting: Support local countries' client teams with revenue management and forecasting, including managing weekly pacing updates. Variance Analysis: Contribute to monthly variance analysis to identify and explain financial performance deviations. SIP Payment Review: Ensure SIP payment information aligns with agreed-upon data. Expense Budget Management: Manage expense budgets and ensure leaders remain on plan. Headcount Forecasting: Prepare and track headcount forecast dashboards. Strategic Planning: Meaningfully contribute to the preparation of the Three-Year Plan, Annual Operating Budget, and Quarterly targets. P&L Reporting: Consolidate, analyze, and report P&L, including commercial and PTO expenses. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports and crib notes for quarterly Op Reviews and F Cycles. Special Projects: Support special projects to drive exceptional revenue growth across the LATAM and Global teams. Financial Process Integration: Develop and implement financial processes that meet revenue and expense needs, ensuring alignment with global and local strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with peers, leaders, and other functional areas to gather necessary data and provide financial insights. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within financial planning and analysis activities. Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. QualificationsQualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 2 yrs of proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a global organization. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning systems. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to various stakeholders. Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers and leaders across different functional areas. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial issues. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Ethics: High level of integrity and ethical standards in managing confidential financial information. Additional InformationOur BenefitsFlexible working environmentVolunteer time offLinkedIn LearningEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)
