Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role will be to perform key activities (as described below) supporting FPA& teams, across all products and functions globally. The goal is to create, maintain and execute solutions such as visualization dashboards, transformation workflows etc. to make processes more efficient and provide analytical insights on Expenses leveraging the Citi data.

Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
Good analytical acumen with 2 years prior work experience. Experience in financial services and/or Banking industry preferred.
Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools with preferred experience working on digital transformation solutions and digitalization projects
Experience of working with financial data with interest in business and economic environment. Understanding of Operating Expenses is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoints skills. Preferred hands-on experience in data transformation, business analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, KNIME, Python, Power Query and similar).
Demonstrated analytical skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Skills:
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate English Skills required.
Effective interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with colleagues at multiple levels and across multiple locations, with occasional exposure to senior management and executive audience.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail is an essential part of the job.
Adaptability, multitasking, ability to learn and desire to develop and improve by challenging status quo.
Ability to work in teams, cross-collaborating in projects and common key deliverables.
Experience working with agile methodologies and project management is a plus.
Proficiency in digital tools/skillset is preferred.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and execute opportunities to enhance data/analytical capability and drive efficiency of the reporting processes.
Navigate through data and multiple systems to drill-down to granular details behind operating expenses to understand main drivers and composition.
Perform ad-hoc analyses and investigations on operating expenses as required by partners.
Collaborate on projects that encompass multiple products globally.
Collaborate extensively in standardizing, automating management reporting needs and drive value-added analytics for decision-making through:
Visualization/Dashboarding for Expense Data Analytics:
Finalizing the data structure required for the dashboard and creating automated workflows to transform the data as required.
Collaborate in the creation of dashboards, test them and deploy them in production.
Continually identify and be part of improvement opportunities across reporting, analytics, and tool-related activities.
Be able to perform value-added analytics and extract actionable insights from the data to support decision-making and help drive Expense reduction/optimization opportunities.
Maintain existing data assets and dashboards:
Extract the required data and run the transformations to refresh the data assets as per required frequency.
Perform checks to ensure proper data quality for data assets in production.
Support deployment of dashboards.
Cater to the enhancement requests and fixes for the existing dashboards.
